CONCERNS ABOUT CORONA VIRUS

In view of increased concerns about the possible presence and spreading of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Brisbane, we would like to let you know that Fox in a Box is absolutely serious when it comes to protection of the health and well-being of our customers and staff.

Detailed below are the procedures we implemented at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak. If you would like to see the updated procedures we have implemented for our re-opening on 12 June 2020 please  click here

We are taking the following measures at our facilities to minimise the risk of potential infections and ensure your safety and well-being as a result of the start of the COVID-19 outbreak.

INCREASED CLEANING AND SANITATION

We have increased the frequency of the cleaning service in our facility and all guest areas and rooms are wiped down with disinfectants frequently and on a regular basis:

  • We are disinfecting rooms in between each game, including locks, game play items, surfaces, props and commonly touched areas.
  • We are disinfecting the reception area in between each game.
  • We have removed items from the rooms that players would commonly have to wear to avoid the risk of contact to face and mouths.
  • Gloves are available upon request at reception if players would like to use them during the game.

INCREASED SUPPLY OF ANTIBACTERIAL PRODUCTS

We have an increased quantity of hand sanitisers and anti-bacterial wipes available in our reception area .

ROOM SIZES AND PLAYER NUMBERS

We have some of the largest escape rooms in Qld. However, at certain times during game play, if 5 or 6 people are playing, there may not be 4m2 per person which is the minimum distance required by the governments social distancing for an enclosed space. Under guidance from Qld health we have to ensure that only family members, people who live together or are in regular contact (ie at work) play games where there may be 5 or 6 people in the room. Please call us if you have any questions concerning this.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

Fox in a Box will remain open and continue to operate during our regular working hours. If you wish to postpone your escape room experience due to concerns about the Corona virus or if anyone on your team is feeling ill, you can cancel your reservation at any time prior to your booked game and receive a voucher in the full paid amount that you can use at a later time. As much advance notice as possible of your cancellation is always greatly appreciated.

We are monitoring the situation closely and following the guidance of authorities and public health experts in order to maintain a safe environment. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please write to us at info@foxinaboxbrisbane.com or give us a call at (07) 3815 9825.
